The on-going development of new products is what drives our company. Our innovations are implemented by systematic product and market research. Based on the prime materials of our product range, PUR-bonded rubber granulate and fibres and PUR foams, we constantly develop new product solutions for many different branches of industry and the services. BSW is one of the international leaders in many of these product ranges. This is the core of our corporate philosophy. We cultivate new markets with new products, and enhance our quality with on-going improvements to existing products. BSW holds many product and procedure patents and has repeatedly received awards for its innovations. Our pioneering activities in the development of products from polyurethane rubber have resulted in the emergence of a new branch of industry worldwide, manufacturing materials and finished products from these raw materials.

BSW began manufacturing products from polyurethane raw materials back in 1954. The foam products gave the company its name - Berleburger Schaumstoffwerk, or Berleburger Foam Factory. But very soon, by the end of the '60s, BSW was developing procedures for processing rubber and other raw materials. On the basis of these developments, BSW created a wide range of partly patented special products, which have long become international standard. Meanwhile BSW has become a business operating on a global scale. In 1992 the Australian subsidiary Regupol Australia was founded in the course of the export strategy. In 2008 BSW founded the Amercian subsidiary Regupol America. BSW now has foreign agents and established trading partners in over 50 countries. Today the complete group generates annual turnover of more than ¤60 million with a workforce of around 360 employees. Consistent expansion of the global sales network and the marketing of new top quality products creates additional prospects for the future.

Anti-slip mats to fix heavy transport loads on lorries and rail cars

Elastic wood compound material
In early 2004, BSW started producing the new unique flexible chipboard called Recoflex which can be used as a substitute for wood, cork and plastic in the fields of furniture construction, interior fittings, exhibition stand construction, prefabricated house construction
