EPDM Surfaces
Rough and Smooth Surface Structures
Regupol® kombi IS, kombi EPDM IS, all Safety and Elastic Tiles, keraflex® EL and the seamless safety flooring playfix® have a smooth or compression-moulded surface structure. Pores are visible, inasmuch as the surface is not closed. By contrast, all cast-coated Regupol tartan® tracks have an open, granular surface structure. Individual granules can come loose or lie loose on the surface from the start.
Velvety Rough and Velvety Matt Surface Structures
Our everroll® performance flooring has a velvety rough surface, a particular characteristic of this flooring. This is why it is popular in applications that require unusual haptic properties while also preventing light reflection. On the other hand, everroll® xtreme can be coated with PUR sealing to make the floor almost free of pores. The surface structure is then similar to vinyl flooring.
Spray-Coated Surface Structures
The tartan tracks Regupol® PD, Regupol® PD IS and the flooring Regupol® kombi IS have an almost closed surface with small, nearly invisible pores. The surface structure is spraycoated with a special PUR/EPDM compound. Please note that the colourings are only available in single colours.
