Official recommendation letter: Brazilian functionary recommends Regupol sport floors

Francisco de Carvalho, Secretary of Sports of the City of Rio de Janeiro has published on 22. March 2010 a recommendation letter in which he declares himself in favour of the high quality of Regupol sports floors of the sports and leisure floor manufacturer BSW. He bases his declaration on the comparison of two different types of running tracks that were laid 12 years ago during a construction project in the city of Rio de Janeiro.

As explanation he refers to the long service life of the Regupol synthetic running track that is in top condition even after 12 years of use whereas the running track of BSW’s competitor is worn-out and no longer suitable for use in service after this period of time. De Carvalho feels sure that the reason for the longevity of Regupol synthetic tracks is their material.

In contrast to many other running tracks that consist of natural rubber getting chapped and hard after few years, Regupol surfaces are made from PU, SBR and synthetic EPDM granules. This material composition presents a higher resistance to UV radiation; physical properties such as force reduction and elasticity do not degrade over a great period of time. De Carvalho therefore recommends Regupol tracks without hesitation for future projects in Brazil.

Regupol synthetic running tracks by BSW are high quality products with long service life. Once installed, not even high humidity or heat can cause any great damage.
