Product development

PUR-moulded parts made with BSW are developed in several steps.

1) We start by loading the finished CAD files. We can process the following file formats:

- Iges
- Parasolid
- AC-IS
- SPL
- STEP
- VDA
- Catia Modell
- Catia EXP

2) Based on the data we are given, we will produce, on request, a scaled model or a prototype in a test mould. This step serves to identify the design, the material thickness, the colour and the functionality of the moulded part.

3) Any modifications mean that the first step needs is repeated. Whether further models or prototypes are required is up to you.

4) The moulds are manufactured and, if necessary, a small series is produced to test the suitability for serial further processing. Then the series production is completed in the required number and at the required time.

Production
The series production of your moulded part is performed on a highly modern system that allows the fastest possible production speed and flexibility. The quantity per time unit varies with the size of the moulded part.

Delivery
In contrast to the general current trend, BSW is in the process of further expanding its own vehicle pool as we are known for ensuring that our products arrive in a perfect condition at the right place at the right time.
